  1. Print and sign the application form from the sponsor.
  2. The license to be replaced.
  3. A certificate of good conduct from the country where the license is to be replaced.
  4. A copy of the original work permit or a certificate from the employer for government employees.
  5. A copy of the civil ID card.
  6. Two 4x6 passport-size photos with a blue background.
  7. Replacement of a damaged or lost driving license.

Direct replacement of GCC licenses

Required Documents:

  1. Civil ID copy.
  2. Passport copy.
  3. Two (2) personal photos (size 4x6) with a blue background.
  4. Blood type proof.

Fees:

  • 40 KWD variable fee: For Kuwaitis
  • 50 KWD variable fee: For GCC citizens

Direct replacement of a non-Kuwaiti license with a Kuwaiti license

Required Documents:

  1. Translation of foreign (non-Arabic) license.
  2. Authentication of non-Arabic license.
  3. Two (2) passport-size photos (4 x 6) with a blue background.
  4. A copy of the civil ID card.

Fees:

  • 10 KD variable fee: for exemption from the test
  • 2 KD variable fee: issuance fee for each year
