Civil ID renewal for diplomats and those in similar positions
First: Renewing your civil ID card:
- (By phone).
- Call 1889988.
- Choose 1 for Arabic or 2 for English.
- Choose service 1 from the voice menu.
- Enter your civil ID number and wait for your request to be reviewed.
- To renew online
Second: To inquire about card status:
- (By phone).
- Call 1889988.
- Choose 1 for Arabic or 2 for English.
- Choose service 2 from the voice menu.
- Enter your civil ID number and wait for the card status to be inquired.
- Inquire online
Third: The prescribed fees:
- The civil card fee is (2) Kuwaiti dinars per card, payable upon receipt.
- To receive the new card, you must appear in person at the Authority's main headquarters in South Surra, the Customer Service Building, ground floor.
- Our service fee is 1 dinar.
